Halloween Harry Potter Costumes

D
o you know what you’re doing for Halloween? I was going to decorate the house all Harry Potter on the outside, like go ALL out but then I’m not sure if all my efforts will be seen so I might shelf that for later. There is always a time to celebrate with a Harry Potter party right? I think hosting an epic HP feast might have to happen…

For now, here are some Harry Pottery inspired Halloween costumes I couldn’t wait to try after watching all 8 Harry Potter movies in a row a few months ago (which then resulted in the WORST neck pain I have ever experienced in my life). It was worth it.

You can still get these items to you by Halloween so you can show off your inner wizard! Also, if you missed it, see my Mulan Halloween costume here.

At Hogwarts

Pajamas: Pottery Barn Teen / Headband: Forever 21 (similar) / Hedwig: Pottery Barn / Wand: Amazon / Genuine Pearl Earrings: An Old Soul Jewelry

In the dorm is the location (the background actually from the HP video game), and I suspended Hedwig from a string so he’d rest on my shoulder. I should have taken video of how this shoot happened because it was so funny and it was a miracle I had a shot that turned out!

Just get that wand and say “lumos” and you have a handy flashlight! I decided to go for a pajama look because it was a little more fun instead of looking like I was at Hogwarts with the cape and all (though equally cute), just kinda got excited over the jammies!! Pottery Barn carries pajamas from the different schools if you happen to favor a different school.

Fleur Delacour

Hat: Amazon / Blouse: ChicWish / Skirt: ChicWish / Shoes: Amazon / Tights: Amazon / Pearl Earrings: Lisi Lerch

If I were to be in wizard school I’d for sure be enrolled at the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic! Me being Par-Asian and how much I adore France and my time there, I mean, of course!! So I found the the must-have items to make my Fleur outfit – from the shoes to the panty house and the official hat I was swooning!

I hope you have a wonderful Halloween whatever you end up doing, or just dressing up and taking some fun photos and that’s how you celebrate! If you want to do this next year, pin it to your board to remind yourself to come back and order these earlier.

Diana Elizabeth has eyeball candies she bought but she’s unsure if anyone will show up at her door. She also finally has a done front patio she’s happy to sit out (with Halloween in mind) but not sure if she’ll be able to use it this first season. It’s OK, at least most of the house is done.
