Fun Lawn Games for Summer

fun lawn games for summer

I love having outdoor games out when we host parties.  It allows your guests to interact and it’s so wonderful to see friends enjoy themselves and laugh over a fun game.

The only thing I really need to add is outdoor music – which may need to happen with another Google Home speaker since our home is wired on Google Home. One thing I’ll work on later this summer when I have more time (or hopefully Google comes out with a better speaker situation for outdoors). I create speaker groups on my Google Home so they need to be on the same one if I’m playing a Spotify station.

We always leave our Giant Connect 4 on a table and the kids LOVE it. Big and little kids.

I wanted to share our three lawn games we have right now, in addition to some (now) very used croquet set I originally picked up from Craigslist that the kids just like to grab and hit balls. There is no method to that game with kiddos, haha.

My friends at Tosso.com has sent over some fun outdoor games over the years for me to check out. I had all three out over Easter and I was watching guests play with them and ask questions about them. I thought I’d share them with you!

We also set out this new  double Ladder Golf game which was the hit of Easter. The guys were having so much fun playing this and it was also fun to watch them – the guys are naturally good at it and it’s fun to see the balls spin off just when you think you might have gotten it! The top row is 3 points, the second bar is 2 points and the lower bar is 1.

If you keep score for outdoor games, check out this outdoor game scoreboard. I still need to figure out where to put it but I love that it’s magnetic.

It is easy to assemble and beautifully made. Actually the Tosso games are very well made with excellent craftsmanship and materials.

You might remember these custom cornhole boards – great for weddings and I created a citrus design with lemon and orange inspired by some graphics I saw on Pinterest.

I highly recommend checking out these games – you’re going to love them and they are also great gift ideas for housewarming or the hostess!
