I recently wrote a $350 check for photography insurance coverage for the next six months. Being a professional photographer has its serious duties and costs, but photography has opened so many doors for me and to take it seriously does require a cost, and time commitment.
I think it’s great that becoming a photographer is accessible dream because the equipment and education is readily available, and photographers are so nice to each other. I really thank the pioneers before us that paved the way who made the culture that way – like Jasmine Star.
What a pleasure it was to be in front of her lens too (see shoot here)!
I figured summer is when we refresh our equipment, learn, take workshops and reevaluate our business(es) and where we are heading with our talents and time. I’ve gathered a few of my posts for photographers that I wanted to share.
