Dress: Lilly Pulitzer Tisbury Shift Dress, c/o wearing size XS

I
know it looks like I’m exclusively blogging about home and garden, but it’s only because I’m stuck in my home and garden, to take photos, haha! I was thinking how fortunate I am to create some spaces that allow us to shoot around here without venturing out, and also backdrops that just feel very, me.

I got rid of some clothes as I mentioned last week to fill it up with so many beautiful things I love! Like this super soft shift dress – I usually wear size 2 in Lilly and size small but I had a feeling I needed this to be a little more snug, so XS it was and perfect!

Here are a few more dresses I have my eye on for spring and summer –

I have cleaned out my refrigerator, like took out the shelves and scrubbed them as if it were a new fridge from top to bottom (that was gross) and almost gone through every drawer in my home, not all, but just about. I tossed out spare buttons I’ve kept in a box for about 8 years. WHAT WAS I THINKING? I don’t even own those clothing items any longer and I just felt like I was a 99 year old lady with her spare buttons LOL. It’s so odd how it takes our brain time to finally let things go and so relieved I did.

One of my best friends came by to grab some clothes I had for her and also drop another bag off to our friend on the way to her house. It feels so great to give things to friends that I know they can enjoy and it’s worth it to me to do that opposed to dropping it off to a consignment shop (though sometimes just getting it out immediately is what I need some days too).

I am kind of tired of the purging and decluttering, I mean, it’s not fun anymore haha. I used to love it and feel good about it but now I do it because there’s not much else to do around here. I could work on business, blog more, shoot content, write, I have a list of things I do want to accomplish but if you’re not in the mood or your brain isn’t ready yet, it’s kind of difficult. I just want to see my friends now!

Well, I have a few more things to clean out on my list that I hope or rather think I need and may as well to get done before things try to resume back to normal – I expect my house to be fully in order by the time I can leave so I can focus on other things. How are you doing? Are you getting a lot done or not much at all? I’m getting ready every day and that helps so much with feeling more productive. Sending you a big hug!
