Viva Las Vegas

My girlfriend Nicole Flesner, who is Mrs. Arizona United States recently competed last week at Mrs. United States in Las Vegas.  So, a few of us groupies (Brenna and Melayne who we all met each other from doing pageants years ago) went to cheer on our girl as she made the Top 12 out of 54 contestants!  We were so excited and proud of her.

Then it was off to celebrate the following day with girl time, some quick shopping, and well, passing time away in the 3 story Louis Vuitton Flagship store.  Yes, I know!  We soon realized our flight took off in exactly one hour which then caused us to run from the strip to the monorail to our hotel LVH, grab our bags,- but not before I totally slipped on water/beer/hard alcohol (who knows) puddle on the floor totally landing flat on my butt, then hailing a taxi and running through the airport all the way to the gate.  We only made our flight because it was delayed 15 minutes – or else we would have definitely missed it!

I was also happy to come home to Mr. Wonderful picking us up and a bunch of roses and yummy chocolates. I have separation anxiety from him.

Diana Elizabeth also got to see her longtime friend Lisa.  Vegas is only special because of some long time friends who live there that she gets to visit when she goes, even during WPPI.

Diana Elizabeth is an author, photographer, and obsessive thrift shopper. You can typically find her in the garden wrist deep in dirt, at a local estate sale or planning her next epic party. She continues to blog weekly.

I love that you have separation anxiety from your honey! Don’t let anyone hassle you for it, ya hear me?!?!? They will, but don’t let it get to you! I get hassled from friends and family all the time about how much I love Brad. Um, hello?! Aren’t we being the example you and the whole world is dying to see in marriage this day and age?! :D
