I wore this outfit last night to John Mayer – minus the heels because the last time I wore white pumps to Parachute my feet wanted to die after 2 hours, I walked out of there like I pulled something (and trust me I didn’t). I tweet directly to John Mayer all time and talk to him through Instagram stories and so on – like I really think I’m talking to him but at the same time I know the probability of him actually seeing it is like 1/1000 so I just say whatever I want. Would I really show him a photo of me, tell him where I’ll be sitting and add I will probably look different because I’ll be crying and screaming? Maybe not. But I did – because I can hide behind my computer hahahaaaaaa.
Anyway, I indulged in this satin bomber jacket – I know you’re thinking wait, it’s summer why do you need a jacket? Because of the AC on blast indoors my friends. Restaurants, theaters, offices, they are blasting! Also if you’re wondering about my hair, see this post about how I achieved this look.
I have more coats and jackets than I want you to know about. I really am my mother’s child, she is the same, we love coats so much – they are the best additional statement pieces!
This will transition easily to fall as well!
I don’t want to tell you how many pairs of black pants I have either – or even leggings – is it necessary to have another? Yes.
I have leggings for different reasons – one is dedicated to the long plane flights, another for the athleisure look, and this pair from Banana Republic I like because they are like professional leggings. Really. These are leggings you can wear to a night out and to work – form fitting cotton and and rayon blend, with elastane for stretch, with an invisible side zipper.
They are sleek ands cult to your shape – so I can wear them and still look like I got dressed up. I love that they aren’t tight around the ankle like typical leggings it gives them the pant look. And they stretch so when you’re bouncing up and down at a concert for hours.
Thank you Banana Republic for sponsoring this post.
