women make the difference

Personal things

I thought I’d share some personal things happening even though it’s happening very fast around here. Maybe one day between posts isn’t enough for me with where I am in life but I’m going to still try! I think with a little planning I can do it :) I just forgot to finish uploading these images and share what’s been going on.

The brick arrived from The Home Depot and it was very exciting.

I have been enjoying spying on the backyard work through the new tinted windows. More on the tinted window situation soon.

I attended the Women Make the Difference event this year and invited my friends to my table. The event benefits 3 programs that help with programs that assist sex-trafficking victims locally in Phoenix and international. Phoenix Dream Center, Streetlight USA and Rapha International.

I am so proud of the friends and businesses who donated to the event for the silent raffle. Thank you for doing that so much – I was told $5,000 was raised for the silent auction raffle ticket items!! Thank you for being so amazing. I hope next year to be able to present the event with even more items to raffle off! Please join me next year by buying a seat, a table, or donating an item or service. There are so many ways to help.

We, or I, am looking at new patio furniture, or rather more patio furniture. These pics are from On The Veranda. I don’t think if we order that they will come in time for my party unfortunately. But I still want them – this might have to be ordered later since we have so much going on right now.

I feel like I’m juggling a bit, the book launch, the backyard project and my birthday party which all is finishing up around the same time. It’s a lot but I know it will get done!
