Velour Jumpsuit
Velour Jumpsuit: Lilly Pulitzer top and pant (c/o) wearing size small (also comes in several colors like pink) / Pajama tank: Lilly Pulitzer
All Christmas decor is put away – don’t let the photo fool you. As soon as I took it down I immediately felt like my home looked too minimal for my liking! I also broke my own rule about not adding a Christmas tote – I had to buy a huge one but I’ll blame it on my poor packing things back into the bins, I got carried away with these big Ziplock bags and that made things a bit more difficult to pack in together.
So I have a new blog design is coming up, and I was picking shades of pink. Only there isn’t really much pink on it now that we’re done. How funny is that? I hope you will like it – I really had you in mind in terms of layout and the unique ways the post will lay out images – best on desktop *wink* I’ll let you know when it’s launched in case you are reading via email.
This Pantone chip book above is what graphic designers use to brand businesses with a Pantone color which means if you tell a printer you want Pantone 200, that’s a red and all printed material means that red will be exactly as it should be. Just like paint colors for your walls. I still use it though rarely for client any more, just for myself.
Speaking of color, I picked a few for the expansion – Origami White Sherwin-Williams, and outside, Alabaster. The shades online are not accurate one bit by the way, they are not beige. Can you understand my dilemma? However I still need to find a color for inside our home, because we are repainting. Not because I want to, but we have to since paint color matching has been an ultimate fail after so many repairs it just makes sense to paint it all!
I have 10 sample shades of white/beige. And I am still not sure I know what color I like, and I discovered this site where you can order paint samples that are stickers! Like 12″x12″ they have the Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams and Farrow & Ball lines. The cost is the same as a sample of paint from Sherwin-Williams so I was like ugh, why didn’t I discovered this sooner? I ordered 5 more… don’t judge. If you have suggestions please let me know – it has to be SW it just makes it easier (or not, haha!)
Hopefully I’ll have an update for you soon on that.
Yesterday bathroom tile started to get installed in the expansion (latest post) and plumbing has to come back to move a little over for the vanity. Then our flagstone flooring gets laid to match what is in our dining room. Then I think paint? Oh boy, hurry hurry, yippee.
I am loving this break from sponsored posts, there have been so many things I want to catch you up on and I feel like I have. I have a really great post coming up this week continuing my Creating Bonds series, catch up on the first post about making new friends as an adult if you missed it. Have a happy week!
