Radisson Blu® Signature EGG™ Chair design contest – WIN a trip to Denmark!

In the spirit of full disclosure, I’ve partnered with Radisson Blu as part of the Radisson Blu Signature EGG ™ Chair design contest. I’ll be receiving payment in the form of products, coupons, giveaways, promotions, and same-as-cash gift cards in exchange for my participation; however, all opinions given here are fully my own.

Have you ever wanted to see what it’d be like to design your own furniture? Or how about – have you ever wanted to visit Denmark? Perhaps designing your a Signature EGG™ Chair and possibly winning a free trip to Denmark might be of interest!

Radisson Blu® in cooperation with Republic of Fritz Hansen, has launched a fun contest inviting participants to customize the iconic egg chair, originally created by the legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen.

You can design your very own egg chair here. Don’t forget to color the chair pad and the back of the chair – patterns are included and you can scale the pattern too. I think I just went to graphic/interior design heaven.

The contest runs through October 13, 2015.  Starting now, each week three finalists will be selected (two selected by the public and one selected by a member of an expert jury). The winning design from the 15 finalists will also be selected by the expert jury.

Here’s mine – which I of course selected a Paris backdrop, although I must say I’d love to see all of those views in my lifetime.

15 DESIGN FINALISTS

A miniature traveling exhibition of the top 15 finalists designs will be displayed at select Radisson Blu® hotels around the world through 2016. The 15 finalists will also receive a miniature version of their customized EGG™ Chair and two nights at a Raddison Blu hotel of choice.

YOU COULD WIN THE GRAND PRIZE!

The contest’s grand prize winner will receive: (1) a customized version of their winning egg chair design and (2) a three-night VIP trip to Copenhagen, Denmark for you and a guest. 

The winning design might also become part of the brand’s new interior design that will debut later this year. You can have so much fun with it and invite your friends to vote for you!
