New Digs for the New Home: Part V
I was hosting a lovely dinner with Shannon and Erica, two long time friends who have seen me through triumphs and trials over the years when my doorbell rang.
I opened the backdoor (the doorbell chimes one ring for front door, two rings for backdoor) when I realized it was UPS.
“Oh hey!” he said when he realized it was me. “So this is where you moved?”
I had seen my UPS guy the day before when I stopped by the old townhome to check on it before my tenants move in and he inquired if I was already gone. I told him where my new neighborhood was, and we were both a little sad realizing that my new home might not be in his route. He also recognized me at the local Hava Java when he was doing a delivery. Funny.
I guess you could say I like creating relationships with just about every one. Or maybe I just buy things too often that my UPS guy Mike knows who I am. Either way, I’m happy to see him and the things he brings to my door.
Such as these lovely things.
Row 1: Anthropologie Porte Dauphine Mirror for the laundry room / Vintage Charm Wooden Stool two for additional dining room table seating / Anthropologie Petiole Hook three to display my favorite canvas wraps in my office /Row 2: Ballard Designs Chase Ceiling Mount for the master bedroom / Pottery Barn Subway Sign Rug to keep my feet warm as I do laundry / Saeco Via Venezia Espresso Machine so I can try to be my own Hava Java, Starbucks and Lux.
Diana Elizabeth just loves to return back to her home when she is gone on vacay. She misses it so much and is definitely loving her house.
