I
worked with MacKenzie-Childs for an IG post and I wanted to share my work on here too – because I took these all on tripod and it’s always a lot of work, but I love it! I walked back and forth like 50 times and it was getting warm outside. This collaboration was a dream come true as I’ve been wanting to work with Mackenzie-Childs for a while! How perfect, right?

This is our side door entrance which is our daily entrance that leads into the newly dark wallpapered mudroom laundry room. Those giant flowers in the white pot by the entrance, why they are dried artichoke flowers!

Are you enjoying peony season? I went back to Trader Joe’s this week and indulged again, this might be the last time I can since the season is quite short – said a TJ’s employee. Maybe that’s what makes peony season so special, and the flower so adored?

Anyway, to keep florals around all the time, just get some pretty floral printed items. I love the MacKenzie-Child’s Flower Market print which comes in black, white and a soft green. I can’t pick which is my favorite, I love all three!

I am finding spots in the garden that I want to refill, take out, but as temperatures rise in Phoenix there’s not much of a point right now to plant. It’s kind of like our winter – we hibernate and we come out at night though when it cools down a bit (like 100 haha). Our seasons are so different here but having lived here almost as equally as my life in CA I am used to it and perhaps this is why I love gardening, we get two seasons!
