I’m not one to announce anything prematurely for several reasons – things can fall through, you want to wait until something super official happens until you announce, like hard core evidence. So even while emails were exchanged, travel was booked by the company, and I was added to a closed Facebook group, I still waited.
Until last Friday when I appeared on the Sony website.
Boom, it’s official.
I am 1 of 11 bloggers (with topics spanning from mom’s, travel, to lifestyle such as myself) nationally to work with Sony creatively throughout the year. I’m not even going to down play it, I’m surprised, flattered and beyond excited. I mean, this is a girl who had a Sony Walkman growing up and the Discman – who hasn’t owned a Sony product in their lifetime? I rhinestoned my Vaio laptop I had years ago – don’t act like that surprises you.
So what I’ll be doing is getting to know Sony products – I’m so looking forward to playing with their electronics and sharing them with you, possibly doing giveaways and just have fun along the way. Girl scout’s honor to always be yours truly.
I take off this month to San Diego to meet my fellow Sony Club bloggers and meet the awesome Sony team. I was just told we’re going to Del Mar and I’m especially looking forward to this since now I know the technique is really in the jockey – bets on my favorite one and I hope to report some good earnings when I return!

Monday, August 5, 2013 at 9:25 AMReally good to know I´m not the only full time wedding pro photographer swimming against the river. I love shooting my Sony high end cameras and lenses, I identified with Sony´s out of the box thinking. I´ll happily follow your blog.

Monday, August 5, 2013 at 9:33 AMHi Maurizio! Thanks so much for your comment! I actually professionally shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III but love Sony products – their electronics and other things are so awesome and have always had the brand around my house since I was young. You have to use what works for you and I believe talent plus good equipment (like Sony) can result in remarkable results! I am looking forward to discovering more about their products!
