Turkish Apron: Etsy / Jeans: 7 For all Mankind / Featured: Chai Floral Leather Chelsea Boots by FitFlop – 30% site wide sale on the FitFlop site now! Shop here.
Can we give applause to the hubs for the lush green winter rye – I am thankful for his hard work planting it solo when I was out of town traveling for a styling workshop. Now, let’s talk about how adorable these pretty floral print leather boots are! They come in black and berry and are on sale as part of the 30% pretty much everything on the entire FitFlop site. Time to get your shop on.
These particular booties aren’t gardening boots but I’m definitely going to wear them while gardening too because they make me so so happy and are easy to put on. They look cute paired with tights and skinny jeans, and I can’t wait for rain so I can slip these on.
I came home last weekend from so much fun but got incredibly overwhelmed with work and I nearly had a meltdown. I didn’t, but I was on the verge of one and I went to see Christina Aguilera with one of my best girlfriends Brenna, and I just expressed everything on my heart and what I was feeling, as I always do and she said, “You don’t live to work.” I will always remember that and she followed with encouragement for me to take the next day off, even though I was concerned work would continue to pile up, she insisted I’d feel more refreshed after. So I did, and then I hired help that week to complete these projects and then I took another day off to do house stuff and today I’m giving myself more time, I’m going to head to the nursery and buy a few more flowers and veggie starters – artichokes in particular. Sometimes what the soul needs are girlfriend talks and flowers.
I have some news regarding our garden. I might not be able to show you the garden bed area for a while…

We just got word we need to bury our electrical lines, which will cost us a lot. A lot isn’t even enough of what you are thinking because what you are probably thinking is little in comparison to what the real cost is.
The alternative is waiting 6-10 weeks for our electric company to install a 40 foot pole in our backyard (NOPE!) and so we must pay them to bury it, get this project scheduled on time, and the line will be buried right through my garden beds.
So with that news, I’m thankful I have a bit of the yard I can still play in and show you as I prune some roses in these cute Chai floral leather Chelsea boots by FitFlop. The 30% off sale is an early Veteran’s Day / Pre- Black Friday sale – it ends November 11. Name it whatever you want to call it, I’m down for a sale. FitFlop shoes are ergonomically shaped with comfortable midsoles which means they are contoured for your arch and impact as you walk. I now own over a dozen pairs, the envy of all feet worldwide.
Last week my friend and I walked 1.6 miles to a restaurant after a college football game and I wore these leather white sneakers from FitFlops (right now 30% off). My feet felt fine and I was a bit relieved I had comfortable shoes on by the time we got to the restaurant! You’ve heard me talk about FitFlop for the past few years, now’s the perfect time to find out what the hype is about. So which shoes will you buy?

Here are my picks on what you should get THAT ARE 30% OFF
1 CLARA Moccasin / 2 SUPERCHELSEA Suede Boots / 3 HOLLY Shearling Snow Boot / 4 F-SPORTY II Bowy Leather Slip-on Sneakers/ 5 F-SPORTY Uberknit Lace up Sneakers
Plans this week include organizing my closets (aka purging) and also putting up Christmas decor if I can. Is it too early? Maybe. But it might not happen until the weekend so that kinda puts me mid-November, haha!
