The random drawn winner of Kokoon’s Mother’s Day slip set giveaway is – Christina! I did old school raffle tickets again :)
Thank you everyone for entering, I LOVED reading the stories about lessons from your mom and what your children have taught you as a mom – I laughed at some and read all of them out loud to Mr. Wonderful. I really felt like I got to know more about you and your moms! On a side note, after you read this post check out this video.
Since we’re on the topic of clothes, I figured I’d share a few spring clothing additions I added to my closet. I’ve been doing great with minimalism by the way, I donate and thin out my closet regularly.
Let’s start with this lovely Jacqueline Maxi dress I modeled – dress by Kokoon and on sale now! I think I’ll wear this during the day in San Francisco for my girl’s trip with Club MED. Ever since I modeled it I couldn’t stop thinking about it and it sold out in my size real fast that I let it go. So I was thrilled when I saw it was back in stock.
I’ve been filling my closet with too many neutrals so this dress should help me add some color to my wardrobe.
I told Benjamin that I no longer need any more clothes until fall. That was before I ordered this Maya oversized linen top from Sincerely Jules.
Maya oversized linen top – I’m in XS
Stretchy pants – OK so I love these because the wide elastic waist band is high – this means it’s flattering, no squeezing or muffin topping! They are $15, you have to get them.
Paneled Moto Leggings – I’m in Small, also comes in black
And this short sleeved sweatshirt with the sleeves rolled up – darlingly casual. Ah! I love it. They ran out of my size so when I saw it was replenished I jumped on it!
It will be so cute with cut off denim shorts or light blue jeans. There’s also an olive green version here.
I bought two of these IKEA MULIG clothes racks. They don’t collapse, but they are pretty sturdy while also being lightweight. They are $9.99 and also come in black.
Did any of you partake in the Lilly Pulitzer for Target madness? I fell asleep early the night before forgetting to go online (which I heard crashed anyway) and then woke up late, and realized I missed the whole thing. I had my eye on a few things but not really my heart set on anything so I didn’t care. We went to church later in the day, had lunch after, and by the time I headed to Target it was 3 pm and the signs were taken down in the section I think the items were in because all I saw was one dress not my size hanging with three phone cases. I went to the beauty aisle and found a light blue Essie nail polish collaboration and that was all that appealed to me. I think Benjamin was relieved. Then, on the way home in the car I logged onto Target.com and bought what I did have my eye on but didn’t find in the store.
When it was delivered, Benjamin saw the picture on the box and said, “Everyone gets clothes, you get an umbrella stand.”
It was $50 and it’s heavy and it’s incredibly awesome. It’s also still available here.
The umbrella I decided to purchase was this navy and white pagoda umbrella I found on One Kings Lane! It’s Sunbrella so it should last forever.
I’m really excited about the umbrella. The backyard is coming together so lovely. If you missed my IG or Facebook feed, we decided to leave a circle of grass around the grapefruit tree. I just think it looks so cute!
