am feeling so much better since my almost two week long sinus infection and I couldn’t wait to put on these gorgeous holiday dresses from Lilly Pulitzer. I am a true size 2 and these fit well, but if your rib cage usually feels a a bit tight in some tops – or you have a larger chest, you could size up. And if it’s cooler where you are, add tights and booties to the outfit.
I’m so excited for the holidays and trying to figure out all the dinners and parties to have to wear the fun outfits. I want to throw a large ornament party (I have hosted a small one over the years) but I just need to pick a date and figure out what I want to serve – maybe hot cocoa and cookies? I will make any occasion to dress up even if I have to host it myself! :)
I also thought why not take these holiday dress photos at night when that is the time we will be wearing the holiday dresses – more than likely? I just don’t think all photos have to be taken during the day and I know how to use a flash and make it fun! I like seeing catalogs with the dresses in the right holiday scene like at night or party dresses at a club with a flash because that’s how I see myself wearing the outfit, but I understand why it’s easier to see the details of a dress in proper lighting. Anyway, I’m having more fun with being creative and I don’t care anymore about anything on social. I’ve been posting at the wrong times, doing whatever I want, and it feels great.
The weather is cooling down so I’m in a much better mood and the garden is looking great! Hopefully the closet will get done soon and I can hang up all these party dresses in there!

Diana Elizabeth really loves all her clothes and can’t buy disposable clothing anymore, well, except some basics which aren’t worth totally splurging on like bodysuits and such. Finally a room to house all her pretty things, she is so ready for it! Hopefully it will be in before Christmas!
