I almost, almost forgot to share photos of our Christmas tree this year. I love taking photos every year because the tree never looks the same every year for us. Every year I want to do something a little different, try a different garland, add a new ribbon, but the ornaments have stayed for the most part.

I have cleared the tree of some ornaments I didn’t feel fit my theme or bring me memories like random woodland style animals but for the most part, I just love a good metallic, and red and green tree! With some chinoiserie ginger jars in there and my latest obsession (see how I made them in this post), Wedgwood ornaments because well, I’m a grandmilennial after all.

After I packed the tree with new Mackenzie-Childs highlands 4″ ribbon and three additional string lights (we have quite a lot of broken bulbs and dead wires in there), I thought wow this is too bright let’s fill it with more ornaments. I forgot how many I purchased from estate sales too – Polish ornaments and two large sets from Frontgate.

I woke up late one night for no reason, took the camera out and captured some photos of the trees lit up at night. It already seems like the month is going by too quickly for me, how about you? I might keep my Christmas decor up until January 15!

Oh, this also reminds me I need to show you our Christmas card… stay tuned!
