Working on the Bridal Boutique

Bella Lily Bridal.  There, I can finally say it, after keeping it mum for a few months!  I can finally share the details of one of my clients, a new bridal boutique opening on the west side of the Phoenix Valley in Glendale.

Brenda came to me early summer for graphic design work (my graphic design business is here), to create her logo and a few print things.  A few months later after she secured her space, she asked if I would be interested and available to assist with decorating her space.

Um…

Yeah how happy am I?  So yeah!

Here’s the space with the walls down – so much to do, paint, figuring out where dresses and veils are to hang, mirrors, dressing viewing areas, I mean the list goes on – can you imagine?

And picking paint colors out isn’t exactly easy when you have tinted windows and fluorescent lights currently up in the space – both which are to be removed.

We settled on Cold Morning by Dunn-Edwards, a cool neutral.

We need a macaroon break!

We’ve made a lot of decisions on furniture, flooring, paint color, but we can’t do anything until new walls are up and painted, and lighting and racks are hung!   So next update in a few weeks – the bridal store is scheduled to open before the new year, and of course I’ll keep you updated on its progress.
