Updated Silhouettes

DSC04548Updated silhouettes from Disney World

When I saw the little booth in Downtown Disney I knew I had to have one. But, with the wet weather and Benjamin’s hat hair, he said, “Not now.”

Then I huffed and puffed the rest of the night because I’m a total brat. And he realized how much it meant to me.  So the next day he found another silhouette artist at the Magic Kingdom Park and told me, “I found one honey, we can go today!” and I was happy.

I think it only cost us $8 each and the artist just had us sit in a chair and look straight ahead for less than 5 minutes.

He must’ve missed my tongue.

If you crazy love Thursdays on my blog, I’ve now set Thursdays to be my posting days on The Heirloom Home.  So remember, Thursdays are double doses of Home and Garden here, and mode in depth on The Heirloom Home.

Diana Elizabeth and Mr. Wonderful have silhouettes of themselves when they were little.  The wood frames she found from Etsy.  She didn’t buy the black ones they were selling because they were plastic.  She is also thinking of doing silhouettes of the buns – on her own of course.  Weird?

Diana Elizabeth is an author, photographer, and obsessive thrift shopper. You can typically find her in the garden wrist deep in dirt, at a local estate sale or planning her next epic party. She continues to blog weekly.
