On Melayne: Similar / On Brenna: Charlotte Russe (similar, similar in black) / My dress: Nasty Gal
It’s one thing to go on a short vacation, and then it’s another to go to celebrate the union of one of your best girlfriends with the company of your other best girlfriends – on the beach, wearing white, and being total goofballs post ceremony. Oh no, we don’t have any fun together at all…
It’s also amazing when your husband has evolved into quite the photographer.
Wedding attire requested was white. I’m happy to abide by wedding request even as an attendee. Our Sedona snowy wedding attire was all black but I swear it didn’t look like funeral – haha. We have another wedding palette to follow for a North Carolina October wedding!
Back to the white wedding – I found this dress from Nasty Gal even though I already owned a long white dress. I wanted something a bit more festive and the lace and pom pom details were pretty beach festive! And here I go again missing my home state, from way down south as we were at Imperial Beach to the tip top of Northern California where I’m from.
I had to sneak a photo as the actual wedding photographer was placing the kids – I’m that sneaky photog but I had to – for the blog – and at least I stayed out of the photo haha!
Check out the wedding portraits I shot for them the next day at Balboa Park here. The historic architecture was amazing.
Life is easy breezy with this guy. I don’t know about you but I think we all look better, calmer and quite happy when we’re by the water.
