My Promo Video

You are probably noticing there’s been a few changes on this blog – new colors, new identity, well, it’s the new look of Diana Elizabeth Photography!  This week, I’m going to blog about all the new things going on with my business and all the wonderful people that helped launch my new brand, starting with my promo video!

I was so nervous.  Nervous not because I didn’t trust one of my best friends Rachelle McCray, owner of Shelley Lynn Productions, but nervous that I’d either (1) Talk faster than the Micromachines Man (2) Have a totally bad hair day (3) And makeup day (4) Not say the right thing (5) Be too serious (6) Or not be serious enough.  See the dilema?  I didn’t trust myself.  But, I had to trust that one of my bests would know what it would take for me to loosen up, not go into a state of frozen freeze ice shock and create a video that would compliment my photography style, and most of all, my personality.

There are a million people I feel like I need to thank.  Like first, my mom and dad for giving birth to me.  Then there’s my first grade teacher Miss Girardi for believing in me…just kidding.

Thank you to every one involved in this shoot that I list under this video.  Thank you doesn’t seem like it’s enough.  I appreciate each and every one of you, your talents, your time, and your friendship.  This video is a collaboration of some of my favorite people in the industry, and those who really believe in me and knows how much I love what I do.

I know you can see this in the header of the newly designed blog (please click out and see it if you are reading this in a RSS feed!), but for those who are reading this in their feeds, I didn’t want you to miss this.

I hope you enjoy.  And to those of you who I don’t know yet personally, I hope you feel like you know me after watching this. xx

Production: Shelley Lynn Productions / Set Design: la Ricki / Location: Designer Blvd. / Makeup: Lizzy Marsh / Director: Rachelle McCray / Videographer: Keegan Ead / Sound: Paul Rosario / Diana Elizabeth Intern: Tabitha Peterson / Cupcakes & Three-tiered Glitter Cake: Casey’s Confections / Design Props: Owned by Ricki, Diana, and Designer Blvd.

Diana Elizabeth and the crew headed to Olive Garden immediately after filming.  Diana won the breadstick eating contest.  Well, there wasn’t really a contest, but she definitely ate the most.  By like, 5.  Which means she looks totally different now than she does in this video.

Diana Elizabeth is an author, photographer, and obsessive thrift shopper. You can typically find her in the garden wrist deep in dirt, at a local estate sale or planning her next epic party. She continues to blog weekly.
