I went crazy over the white bootie trend, I knew I had to add them to my wardrobe and ended up driving to the mall 30 minutes before it closed because they were sold out online all while texting my girlfriend telling her all about them. Hey, a girl’s gotta do what she has to do if she wants it bad enough and she has the flexibility!
I had a lunch meeting the other day which brought me super close to the mall again which prompted me to go inside a brick and mortar! I walked into Urban Outfitters which I hadn’t been to for so long. I ended up buying two embroidered tops (this black top) and this denim skirt that’s repurposed from old Levi’s.
I received so many compliments on this top when I was at a blogging Friendsgiving dinner at Doughbird, you should check it out, I sized up in a medium because I like to breathe in my clothes and move, haha just kidding it just felt so much better to be a bit looser and not constricted but it depends on how you like your fit. I wish I got it on sale but hey, lucky you!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a denim skirt in my wardrobe. I feel like my wardrobe is a transition of the seasons – still a bit warm here in Phoenix, and this will also work for spring, wahooo. I’m also running out of hangers in my closet, ut oh.
I am trying so hard to keep only what I love and that’s definitely what’s happening but maybe it’s time I really go through it once more, reinvent my style again, ahhhh, or build myself a new larger closet in 2018… I mean that’s the husband’s suggestion and that might be so foolish of me to fight him on that.
