Best Summer Hats – My 5 Favorite Straw Hats
Wearing: Ale by Alessandra Verona, (also here)
Since I was little, I got used to seeing my parents wearing a hat. They wear hats all the time – and I mean ALL THE TIME. Whenever they step out of the house, they wear one, together! They serve at church every Sunday for the past 15 years wearing a special hat, some are fedora hats, others have themes if it’s a holiday, but always, a hat. They have over 100 hats but today I decided to share with you just 5 of my best summer hats with you.
They have over 100 hats! When I brought out my hats, Benjamin starts laughing as if I have too many. I don’t by the way – I own 5 regular hats (as of today). And regular hats, I mean straw hats, not including my four hats dedicated to gardening (also straw). I need new felt hats this fall but that’s for much later.
Are you a hat person? One thing I will mention is to never buy a cheap hat. I have a cheap hat and it’s one of those hats I’d wear on a boat so if it flew off I wouldn’t care, that’s fine. But like some things, it’s just worth paying a good amount for a really good quality hat because it will not only last you, but look better in photos and give you better coverage – it’s a statement piece!
It will also compliment your look I promise! I thought I’d share some of my favorite hats I own.

How to pack your hat when you travel? You can get a hat box like this. And you can also use it to store your hats at home. I hang mine on the wall, some of them anyway, and others I have a hatbox in my closet!
Or a hat carrier like this, for $55 on Amazon that can sling over your shoulder or carry on your back –

¡Por supuesto! Además, hay que contemplar llevar equipaje que vaya de acuerdo al lugar como las gorras, que son un accesorio indispensable.
