Jennifer: Scottsdale Phoenix Maternity Photography

Jennifer and I had to reschedule our shoot because of monsoon season here in Arizona.   It worked out perfectly because the clouds decided to stick around for a while as JM met me in some dry fields to capture her baby bump number two, a second boy.

She is one of my bests and a treasured blessing from above.  I was baptized in JM’s pool, surrounded by a 50+ close friends on a hot summer night in July three years ago.  She is a joyful, genuine woman with an incredible heart and desire to serve the Lord and encourage everyone she meets.  I owe so much of my photography business to her spurring me on.

Also known as JM from my previous blog, Jennifer has scribbled scripture on pieces of paper for me as encouragement.  I have one that stays in my bible with a note that says, “You’ll get through this,” that I’ve kept for a good while.   While it was written during a tough time in my life, it reminds me of the friends God put in my life and His presence to get me through it. JM is a huge part of my life story, and I am happy to document this part of her life.

Congratulations JM, can’t wait to meet the new little one.  I love you so.

Enjoy the beautiful redheaded cowgirl in the fields.

Some sweet country details.

These little booties will soon be worn by a little “doodie” – that’s code for cutie.

The light breeze was a nice oomph to the photos.

Diana Elizabeth got bit by a huge fire ant less than two minutes into this shoot.  She screamed and her toe throbbed for nearly two hours afterwards.  Needless to say, she has learned a very big lesson.  Always wear boots when planning to shoot in nature.  Flip-flops are unacceptable.
