I can’t believe I am in France right now (you can follow on IG) and revisiting Provence it has been too long! I had ordered this polka dot skirt with one place in mind – France. Specific location, special occasion, same thing. This is my third skirt from eShakti, and let me tell you why I love it – you can completely personalize your order, and it’s SO affordable, priced as if you bought it off the rack, without the custom cost.
Of course these images are not from France but rather down the street and in front of a Ralph Lauren store, ha!!
You submit your height, if you want pockets, add a specific heel in mind, or flats. Maybe you want to change the hemline – you can do that! I’m pretty jazzed about the “adding pockets” thing.
I’m in size 2 for the waist (I did 0 before but it was quite snug and with holiday parties and all…) and told them my height and to keep it touching the floor with no heels on. Because along with France, I had a specific shoe in mind, a flat. One that would allow me to walk though the French market with ease, no heels. I am still debating going to Bordeaux, I can’t make up my mind, there are a few things I have to consider… or else trust me my flight would be booked right now.
But, for the sake of holiday and dressing up and wearing this skirt if I somehow don’t make it back to France this summer, I knew it would also be perfect this season to parties – if I added a heel!
Though this made me think of France, I didn’t pack this because it is freezing there right now and I had to pack a little more practically – but not to worry, I did pack a skirt. It’s tulle and it’s pink. You’ll see it on my IG account and probably on the blog soon ;)
I love long skirts I think they give such a formal elegant feel and you can wear leggings (love these fleece lined from Amazon) under it and no one would know, you will not freeze! That’s my little trick for fashion in cold places.

Diana Elizabeth says polka dots are slimming, right?
