It’s February, finally! Does anyone else feel like January was the longest month? But I sure needed it to recuperate from the holidays!
I’m hosting our 4th Galentine’s Day in a few weeks with my girl gang of almost 20 years! Sharing some tablescapes from the past!
First, let’s talk about what I serve for dinner! It’s so easy to make when you have guests, and only takes 10 minutes putting it all into one pot! You can wait until everyone arrives to get started.
Mini Baguettes, individual ones in frozen section at Trader Joe’s or the Cheesecake Factory brown bread!
Also, here’s a playlist:
Sometimes I like to make decorations and be able to throw them away – and I always like low cost. So I made heart paper chain decor and strung it around! It was a creative cute touch!
Another year I tied ribbons to the chandelier and I really liked that look and will probably do that again!
I have learned to not have specific tablecloths for something that happens once a year unless you have the storage, really like it, or have the budget. I have found there are so many easier ways to simplify my hosting items if I can think outside the box – patterns don’t need to be holiday specific.
These faux potted roses typically sit on a shelf on my wall so I took them down and used them as table decor.
Another option is buying a few potted ones from Trader Joe’s and using them as decor and giving them to your guests after the party is over!
Consider a sugar rim that looks festive – I dilute honey and water and dip it.
The heart bowls we use daily now because I have too many dishes and plates and I love eating in them every day! I got them off Amazon here: https://amzn.to/4hjxepD
Don’t be afraid to mix it up, sometimes holiday doesn’t need to be so obvious but at the same time, if you love a good theme like I do, lean into it, like heavily lean into it! I always think you can never go over the top with anything!
XOXO

Apparently I’m not too creative with the titles of my blog posts haha!
