Banana Pineapple Punch
Best friends share everything, including family recipes, right? My bestie Meagan whipped up this amazing punch years ago that I immediately I begged for the recipe.
Since I’ve had this recipe, I whip up this punch for holiday parties and every person raves about it and asks what’s in it – so I’m going to share it with you so you can make an ultimate crowd pleasing punch that you can share! So from my friends to yours, cheers!
Ingredients
- 2 liters of Canada Dry® Ginger Ale
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 frozen can of pineapple juice
- Ice
Step 1
Prepare sugar mixture: Pour sugar with water and put in a pot until sugar dissolves. If you would rather use the microwave, I suggest 2-3 minutes on high. Set aside and let cool.
Step 2
Add ingredients. Mash three ripe bananas with a fork. Pour orange juice, lemon juice and add the mashed bananas to the punch bowl. Add handfuls of ice and two liters of Canada Dry® Ginger Ale.
Step 3
Dissolve frozen pineapple juice: Add the frozen can of pineapple juice to the cooling sugar water – since it’s still warm it should allow the frozen can of pineapple juice to dissolve. Pour mixture in. Serve and enjoy!
Do you love these darling cups? I got them from Target last season from the Oh Joy! holiday collection, they are so cheerful! My Target trips always consist of detours through the sections, clothing, housewares, then onto the party supplies before I need to grocery shop. Target makes grocery shopping fun and it’s the only time I go – whatever it takes, right?
You could probably add some champagne if you wanted! Cheers! Let me know how much you and the crowd love it!
