Next Project: His Office Closet

As if I didn’t have enough to manage the master closet, how about another small side project!

O
ne area of the house that has not been touched and not really revealed on the blog is Benjamin’s office. 11 years of living here and he hasn’t really let me touch it after painting it a dark mushroom color. He doesn’t want me to disturb his space but I swear it’s the most undecorated room in the house which drives me nuts!

I have filled it with some blogging gifted items from collaborations like a dresser which he uses to store his marketing materials, and bought him a new desk, as well as a leather couch that breaks apart into section which is great since it’s down the narrow hallway of our 1952 home – and idea for small space living like if you lived in an apartment.

I would love for it to look more like this – and we bought this wallpaper but for the closet because, baby steps with this one.

His reach in office closet is by Inspired Closets, the same company that will be doing my walk-in master closet that is currently happening. It’s funny because usually when Benjamin sees me doing something, he wants the same. I won’t go into that backstory but it’s cute, but also costs money ha! So, he saw my reach in office closet I did with California Closets many years back and loved its functionality.

I don’t see myself doing a big reveal of his office yet but I will share his office closet once it is done. It will be before my closet because we still need walls up to get it accurately measured.

We just had the electrician come over the other day and put in all the outlets and it looks great, now it’s time for me to get to work and wallpaper!

Diana Elizabeth sometimes feels like she’s losing her mind with all these projects but this one she didn’t sign up for, Benjamin just insisted he wanted one and here we are, and who knew he wanted wallpaper in it? Where did he get that crazy idea? ;)
