One of the million perks of being self-employed is making your own schedule, and being able to take a typical work day and spending it with those you love. My sister Ariel (for those who don’t know the relation, click here) came up from Tucson and she brought up Miss Lily, who I had the pleasure of seeing her birth.
Lily is now eight months. She smiles at every one and because she does this all the time, Ariel is forced to talk to people she would rather not.
Ariel, Lily and I went to lunch after I had a big meeting with a publication. I was worried about Lily and if she would behave. She was an angel. Give her a spoon and she was entertained. Don’t give it back to her when she drops it and she’s fine. She’ll bonk her head on things and get a red welt but you would never know if it weren’t for that red spot on her forehead. Take things away from her and she doesn’t care, she’ll find something else. I think Ariel makes a fine mama and Lily will maintain her angelic personality that matches her looks.
Meet Miss Lilyana Elizabeth – big eyes, an incredibly sweet personality, and ridiculously well behaved, and 100% cute. Little boys, she’s gonna break your heart.
Diana Elizabeth is suddenly wanting to take a bubble bath. She might need to put Mr. Bubbles on her shopping list.
