Alternative to Christmas Tree idea: Decorate the garland
As I’ve been gearing up for Homeworthy to film tomorrow – (am I ready? Um, I will be!) I decided to decorate a garland in our living room with a specific theme – gardening, florals, birds, gardening type ornaments like a hand trowel and watering can.
I was going to do this theme for the fireplace mantle but felt as though I needed more in the living room because that’s how I am – and I wanted to add more ornaments because I’m super Christmas extra!
If you’re looking for a Christmas tree alternative due to space or you don’t want another Christmas tree in the house, hanging ornaments on your garland would be a great idea! Think for a child’s room or small spaces or any space in general to display more of your ornament collection!
These pre-lit garlands are from Willams-Sonoma and they have a 6-hour battery operated timer with them, so it will glow like a Christmas tree!
Currently my landscaper is here, my cleaning lady came this morning and I ironed my skirt for tomorrow. I have an early day with hair and makeup and then we film at 10 am! Wish me luck! See you back on Homeworthy! xx
