Liberty as the Easter Bunny

Happy Easter!  That’s my hero shot of Liberty as the Easter Bunny.  Rabbits don’t exactly sit still and they also don’t like getting dirty but I wanted to take a few photos of her.

“What exactly do you want me to do and why am I sitting in your raised herb garden?  And why is this chive in my face?”

“I will cut it down myself,” says Liberty.

“Here, get a shot of my good side.”

“I’m standing on my back legs because I don’t want my front legs to get dirty.”

“Ma! Are we done?”

Have you ever see bunnies move their mouth as if they were trying to talk to you?  I call this bunny cussing.  She usually does this to me when she’s mad that I’m making her do something – like cutting her nails, putting her in a bad spot, or holding her the wrong way.

“If you only knew – I’m sitting here with one eye closed because the dang sun is in my eye.”

 Hoppy Easter!  He is Risen!
