Cutest clock in the entire world

Kirie Three Clock by Decoylab, available at Magpie Lovely, $84

I’m spending more infront of my sewing machine than my computer this winter, which is just lovely.  Most of the time when Mr. Wonderful is working in his office, the TV is on HGTV in the living room and angled toward my office.

It isn’t until my tummy rumbles or practically shrieks at me in pain to tell me it’s lunch time.  You see, I can’t see the time from where I sit, so I had to find a cute clock, not just any clock, to place on the wall where I can see it when I sew.

Found the sister clock of this cutie I bought on Pinterest which eventually lead me to Magpie Lovely’s website, and then to this handmade clock.  I adore it to pieces, and it makes no ticking sound.  So it won’t interfere with the already ticking sound I get from the automatic timer I have for the Christmas tree…

Diana Elizabeth thinks buying those things you love and think you will rarely replace, ever, is so worth the investment.  And, it did cross her mind that this clock might one day be really cute in a little girl’s room.

That clock is indeed adorable! And yes…it would look lovely in Little Miss Wonderful’s room one day. ;0)

I agree with your italic last words!
What immediately comes to mind is pretty funny, though it wasn’t a large “investment”…

Before dating, while just friends, I got Brad this wind up toy crab from San Diego. He kept it ever since and when we finally were dating and antiquing one day, I found a tinier pink toy crab JUST LIKE Brad’s! We had to get the cheap plastic toy for $3 to complete the set ;) When we showed the falling apart crab to some family, they said it totally wasn’t worth even $1, but it was to us of course and they are proudly on display in our kitchen to this minute!

Aaaand! Since we found out we get to adopt Baby J, I just this morning found an even teenier toy wind up crab and bought it to complete our trio :)
