Crazy Plant Lady Halloween Costume

Plant lady is the new cat lady.

Oh hey last minute Halloween costume idea – something I’m really good at (last year I put on a tutu and bodysuit and called myself a ballerina). This year, let’s say this outfit didn’t take much preparation and you can totally pull this off if you’re looking for a last minute idea – besides, isn’t the crazy plant lady a real-life trend? I knew I was cool, jk.

I look like Steve Urkel here, lol.

OK, so here’s all you need – get some plant vines at Michaels (or here on Amazon), and bunches of leaves and put them in a lightweight terra-cotta pot, plastic, to make your costume break-free.

You could possibly raid your parents or nana’s house for a faux plant. The shirt I bought for $3.99 at Michael’s with the iron on letters (or find ready-made here on Amazon). Interpret the crazy plant lady however you want – my version is half gardener, maybe a little nerdy.

Bonus points if you pass out seed packets to trick-or-treaters instead of candy. Or put the candy in seed packets, haha.
