Another closet being built meant another wall to wallpaper! And here we are – after Benjamin actually said we should – and I just rolled with it.
I am thankful for Livettes for providing this high quality removable wallpaper for this project. I have worked with her several times – my small closet makeover (popular on Pinterest), the laundry room wall, and my office closet.
I found this adorable lemon contact shelf liner at the 99 Cents Only store – and so I started with that. Truthfully the shelf liner is thin, like thinnnnnn. And so I worried about it but cute overrode the quality factor so I just put it on anyway. Until it ripped I think and then I was like oh no, so I used packaging tape and laminated all four shelves. Yep. So that should last me a good five years before I switch it up again, right?
Anyway, this is our closet for guests to hang clothes, any overflow, guest linens, and the access to the (new) attic crawl space – 10 feet up. Probably should’ve thought about lowering that ceiling honestly…oops.
I found a metal suitcase from Overstock to hold extra bedding for the Murphy bed in the space. So guest can use this closet and can also easily access towels, pillows and blankets.
The extra stuff I want to use this storage space for doesn’t need to be in plain sight for guests such as bedding, pillowcase covers and extra flat sheets – so they are stored in the metal suitcase.
Is this bird duvet adorable?

I bought these large water hyacinth bins, harvest wire storage baskets, linen document box and labels from The Container Store, thanks to the organization of my stylish professional organizer friend Kate.
A huge thanks to Kate of House of Turk for helping me pick out some bins and baskets for the space and also how to arrange it. I was stuck on what to put in the closet that looked stylish and we talked about what I was going to store in there. So thankful for her expertise and eye. She will soon offer virtual styling services and the world needs more of her beautiful organization style.
The document boxes hold things for me – party garland, electronic manuals, cards, and sewing fabric. I’m hoping to get back into sewing again soon.

And that’s finished. It’s a cute little closet that I don’t mind leaving open or having guests see – it’s a cheery little space in a bright room. I hope you enjoyed it and rethink your small spaces and add some wallpaper because wallpaper is life! Ha!
