Easy Girl Dinner and Dessert Combo for a Cozy Night In

When you’re not super hungry but you can snack and it’ll fill you up enough, you call it dinner – girl dinner!

According to Google AI: Girl Dinner is a social media trend, particularly on TikTok, for a simple, no-cook meal consisting of various snacks and appetizers eaten by oneself, often resembling a charcuterie or snack board. The concept emphasizes grazing on a collection of small, unrelated food items when cooking feels overwhelming or unnecessary, embracing the freedom from traditional meal preparation and the pressure of preparing food for others.

This is the way I think we can easily entertain without pressure!

Will you look at this view? This backyard belongs to my friend’s parents in Tenino, Washington. To the left is a view of Mt. Rainier which I will show you soon.

Trader Joe’s for the win and this Williams-Sonoma Central Coast Creamery Deluxe Cheese Gift Hamper which also makes an excellent gift! Charcuterie goodies and for girl dessert – s’mores but with croissants! Put anything in a croissant and I think it’s the bees knees.

These cabbage teacups, the floral plates, and the cabbage ware is just so perfect for this outdoor girl dinner. I love how I can mix and match but also it blends in with the outdoor setting. This plate collection is AERIN x Williams Sonoma. Right now the appetizer plates with the feather details is on super clearance!

The cabbage cheese tray with a lid is so pretty for a presentation and keep the bugs off your food. All items are c/o of my friends at Williams-Sonoma.

As time gets busier and life, I think about how the stages can quickly come to a close without us realizing where life will take us. Moving, life stages, death (sorry this is very real to me in this moment of my life), this to me means we should try to gather as much as we can with friends and enjoy one another now.

So if you can arrange to host friends once a month or quarterly, and make it easy – something like this with a charcuterie board or an easy bake lasagna that you buy from the grocery, do it. No need to go all out, just gather.

It is much easier to make it beautiful than you think – pretty plates and serve ware that you can mix and match. Once you have a collection just keep adding to it and you will have enough (then again, I don’t know if I have enough haha!)
