Setting up home with Pottery Barn
Canvas + leather basket c/o Pottery Barn
When I got married I thought I almost everything I needed and since we had a perfectly intimate wedding under 25 guests, I didn’t think I needed to register. I was wrong, as our large wedding reception in my backyard was being planned – my close and long time friend Ricki who had a huge influence on my domestic creation, insisted guests needed some direction for gifts, if they so wanted to bring a gift. Ricki who had helped style my wedding and reception, also knew what I was missing – to be domestic. She is such a good friend that she registered for me! Really, I gave her full permission to put my wedding registry on Pottery Barn, what she thought I needed, and I went in and added a few things.
I kind of think I have an ongoing registry with Pottery Barn myself, even five years after our wedding!
Here are a few ideas of gifting for the weddings you’re attending, or if you’re engaged (Congratulations!) some ideas on what to add to your Pottery Barn wedding registry –
^^ I swap out bedding and pillow covers with the seasons, blankets too! Except there’s this one fur blanket that I love from PB and that’s going to be my year-round blanket, it’s too snuggly not to be! Anyway, I swapped out the fur pillow cover and replaced it with this. I just think of knits and sheepskin to be year-round cozy! New pillow covers and linens will bring style and refresh any room.
^^ Odd and ends, knitting projects, or even kiddie toys (yes, we are child-free but we sure have little love bugs that stop by that we love on) and we like to keep some of their toys tucked away on the side of the couch and they can grab toys and play or read to their hearts desire while their mommy and I catch up!
Stemless wine glass set + Drink dispenser + Flatware caddy
^^ When hosting, instead of putting flatware on a table, here’s a cute flatware caddy to allow guests to grab the utensils they need. You can even roll the utensils up in a napkin and fill them all up. I love that these stemless wine glasses don’t take up much room in the cupboard and this drink dispenser is so elegant and you can let guests help themselves to refilling their drinks.
Spring is here, happy celebrating and hosting your friends and family!

I will always love Pottery Barn and I did register with them when I got married. It is so thoughtful of you to keep toys for the littles that come to your home. Charlie loves the book Madeline, we read it often together.
