It’s a miracle I have clothes to wear since I’ve been dumping clothes on the floor of my itsy bitsy closet. I’m purging and I listed a lot on my closet on Poshmark if you’re interested in making any offers (leave a comment you read my blog, I’ll let you get away with low offers without insulting me haha). There’s so much more I need to post, but it’s so time consuming – sometimes dropping it all off at consignment is worth the pennies in exchange for a cleared out closet.
So you guessed it – there’s a new project. It’s the closet – the tiny, step in and turn around closet that doesn’t count as a walk-in. I mentioned previously about that project for the new year and that’s quite a possibility, but there are a few more weeks in this year that I might be able to get away with another project before the year closes. Ambition, my friends.
It seems as if I’ve found a pot of gold to tackle these home projects this year. Truth is, I’ve been fortunate to come across some great clients. Pay cash for everything is our motto, so now it’s time to give my neglected closet some love. I’m budgeting at a modest $500. Early retirement + travel > Everything else.
Back to fall fashion, I highly recommend owning a sweater with a zip detail. This Banana Republic sweater I’m wearing has been in my closet for a while and I thought wearing a flannel under would be different since I only throw a puffy vest or sherpa vest over flannel tops. I’m also really happy I got to wear a scarf, out of the 20 I own and don’t have the chance to wear.
I really believe fashion was made for cooler weather!
If you’re a sweatpants lover like I am, these are worth every penny. I own them in black and beige in size small. Don’t feel any guilt spending that on sweatpants if that’s what you live in. And if you live in them, don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it because it means you’re boss. *wink*
