Visit The Simple Farm in Scottsdale

I love local and I love being inspired by others of the things that I could one day grow.  A few weeks ago Mr. Wonderful and I stopped by The Simple Farm in Scottsdale off the 101 – it’s a home owned by sweet Lylah and Michael who live there and have created this amazing little farm oasis in the desert.  There are goats, and lots chickens, and they sell goodies that they grew so it’s fresh.  Most importantly, you are supporting local.

Visit their website here. At the moment their summer hours are Thursdays only from 8:30 to noon.   Go early for a little food from their cafe and walk around, take the kids to see the goats.

Don’t forget to pick up their goat milk caramels.  Seriously worth every penny.

Diana Elizabeth and Mr. Wonderful bought fudge, corn, bread, onions and tomatoes.  They were amazing.  Make sure you say hi to Lylah!

Don’t you just love local! There’s a local restaurant by my house that only buys local produce. It’s even better when local businesses support each other.

Hi M!! Love local and I know you do too as a small business owner – we know how much work it takes!! Gotta support the small mom and pops and they seem to have more “love” for what they do, don’t they? And love farm to table restaurants too!
