Suede on Suede

Suede cap: H&M / Bodysuit and suede bomber jacket: Forever 21 Booties: NAOT (another color) (c/o)
Clutch: Madewell (similar) / High waisted jeans: KanCan (similar)

What you can’t hear looking at this photo are the yippy dogs behind the fence that were not happy I was standing by their property! Barking dogs gives me anxiety, I wanted to just run away and forget the shot but Benjamin was like no, just stay there and let’s get this photo taken. Is a suede hat with a suede bomber too much? Well, I feel like most of rocking fashion is confidence. I think one of the easiest ways to be trendy is with accessories – like hats. I bought a satin one from H&M as well.

My style has changed a lot over time, I’m not sure why, I think I’m having more fun and I finally feel like I get my style. Even though years ago I would dress up I don’t think I truly ever loved what I wore out, but now I get it. Perhaps that comes with age, a maturity of knowing you, and figuring out your decor and fashion sense. Either way, I’m totally loving this phase of my life.

Double zip booties are from NAOT, the Helm bootie has a padded heel cup and it’s so comfortable – if you’re looking for that pair of shoes that you need to wear while you’re feet all day – photoshoots, walking, it’s a great line of shoes.

You may also have noticed I’ve been purse-less lately, only using this clutch I bought years ago from Madewell. It fits all my cards, iPhone and lipgloss in there, and much more fashionable to me and works daily through the night. I’ve become a clutch girl as of lately and it feels nice to not carry too much around with me.

^^ This photo was kinda funny because when I saw it Benjamin leaned over and said exactly what I was thinking, “It looks like you have a big booty!” LOL – and now cue JLo’s “Booty” song. Big, big booty What you got a big booty…
