My #fullosophy is travel, pretty much to any place where I can be inspired by other cultures, history, or nature. I see God in nature and it makes me humble, calm, and it helps me prioritize my busy life. When I’m working hard on big or small projects, and the hours and days seem long, I remind myself I’m working towards my next adventure. It motivates me, encourages me and reminds me I have a spiritual break coming up.

Abbott’s LIFE. TO THE FULLEST. mission is to find out what living fully means to each of us. All over the world, people have their own unique ideas about how this looks and feels. But there’s one thing we share: we each want to live the best life we can. Abbott has set out to find what living fully means to people around the globe and for you to embrace what it is that is your #fullosophy – the heart of who you really are and to focus on it, even if it’s different from the rest of the world it doesn’t matter! It’s all about you!

When I was asked, “What makes you feel the most fulfilled?” I selected travel, even though community is also a close second. I feel like I’m on my A game when I’m traveling – laughing with my girlfriends or husband, my eyes and heart are wide open to take in every experience – there is no time to sleep in, in fact there’s no time for jet lag either, I’m so excited.

I feel fulfilled when –

I’m sitting in the very front of the boat all day and getting a semi-permanent racerback tan that takes 4 months to disappear off your body –

My heart and face are smiling even though it’s raining because I’m just so happy to be in France!

I’m experiencing life elsewhere – breathing in fresh air. I was sick the entire time I was in France by the way, but I completely forgot about it and even these photos make me forget!

I try something different like walking a hawk through the forest because I can’t do it back home –

How I carve out time to live to my #fullosophy:

  • Keep a positive attitude when things get hard – see the end goal. Example: long hours means more work, more money in the bank and enough to buy a ticket some place! Or if you like to stay home, buy that new couch! See what I mean?
  • Just say yes – never more have I regretted not going just because I didn’t think it was possible.
  • Be prepared – save your pennies for the opportunity, there’s nothing worse than having to say no because you don’t have enough money, save up now for that future YES!

Make it happen!

How many of us say we want to go on a vacation and it takes forever to do it? Find a willing friend, look at a calendar and book it – be intentional! Just do it! Life’s too short to wait.
