Throwback to the kid days
When I was a little girl in elementary school, I would guess as young as the age of 8, my mom would switch out my twin cotton bedsheets in the winter, and replace them with flannel sheets. The flannel sheets had a variety of cartoon-like cars on them, and as I was enveloped in them, I would lay on my back and pull the top sheet staring at the car colors. I would pick out my favorite car, change my mind, then imagine where they were traveling to, who was in them, and then constantly wonder why as a girl, I had flannel car sheets that I thought would be better suited for a boy.
So when I saw Pottery Barn had a little winter village sheet set, it reminded me of the fun sheets sets I had as a child. I placed the order for our king bed without hesitation. They’re on backorder for a little while which bums me out since you all know my Christmas tree is already up – or else I would have these sheets on our bed now if I could. I can’t wait to lay in bed, lift up the flat sheet over my head and let my mind wander again. This time, in true girl style, I’l pick out which house I’d live in, what I’d be cooking, wearing, and what I’d be doing in a snowy village. I may never get out of bed this winter.
Pottery Barn Winter Village Sheet Set, $24 – $149
Diana Elizabeth knows that even though the sheets will be used for only two months out of the year, you just have to indulge. It’s the same as having your Christmas decor up!

This is so incredibly cute, Diana!!! I did the same with my Little Mermaid sheets…I’d be swimming under water with her! :D
I love those winter sheets! Very sweet. I would love fun ones like that, but we’ve been spoiled on sheets since we got married and absolutely cannot go back to anything else (we’ve tried when our first set got a tear). We use Modal Beechwood satine sheets. SO SOFT it’s hard to get out of bed!
