  • We're obviously thrilled with our expansion project being complete, but we didn't get here without a lot of patience and learning! ⠀ .⠀ Our GC @trinityhomesaz was incredible (you should hire him) and today on the blog I'm talking about HOW we got started with the expansion (permits, quotes, space planner, saving money) and also what we LEARNED and the HARD stuff about the process of going through a big project like it. ⠀ .⠀ I hope this post helps guide you for a future project and prepares you mentally for what's ahead. ⠀ .⠀ It's worth it of course! ✨ Link in bio.
  • Another time lapse of a removable wallpaper install in the new closet - what pattern did we choose to match the 🍋 print shelf liner? ✨ ⠀ .⠀ At the end I decide to become a dare devil because, when your ladder isn’t tall enough....🤷🏻‍♀️⠀ .⠀ Time to style it and then I’ll share a reveal. I feel like we’re still working on different areas before things will be 💯 done so I can really show you. Design is never done and my brain will tidy up one room to 90% then I’m off to another. 🧠 💥 .⠀ I wanted to mention this is my fourth removable wallpaper experience with @livetteswallpaper and it is the BEST quality. It has a slight texture (the good kind that looks like real wallpaper), doesn’t rip, is extremely sticky and high quality. Not to mention so many trendy and classic patterns and colors that make me so happy which is why I have 4 walls covered in her wallpaper, I highly recommend her wallpaper for any projects you have to add some personality even in small spaces.   • Had an incredible day catching up with with @beautybylizzymarsh as she made my face 💄 so I could get ready for 📷 time with one of my favorites, the talented @autumnrenaephoto. 🖤 We shot with no agenda or expectations. I have been overwhelmed lately, and this was a little bit of time for us to create for us - sometimes that’s what creatives need, a break to reconnect and shot for yourself. Thanks @autumnrenaephoto for always bringing out the best side of me and allowing me to “reset” in front of your camera. I needed it as much as you 😘❤️
  • Continuing the Creating Bonds Series - How to Create a Group of Friends 👭👭👭. I have always had groups since high school and through different parts of my life. It doesn’t have to be large, it can be as small as 3 and as large as 6 (in my case) or larger! It takes time but there is a great opportunity in starting a group after a shared common interest or event. This girl gang of mine (1 gal not pictured) was created from pageantry! I share a few more of my groups and what we do to stay close. One group I’ve had for 15 years! Friendships are priceless and when you find the right people they become your support group and family ❤️Link in bio.
