Sweater Dress

I
‘m starting to feel better after getting back from France – I know I need to post a few photos and I also wanted to share some tips, but I think they might have to wait until the new year :) I am on the last few days of my medication and am feeling better and getting out to socialize and I after experiencing how cold France is in November (which I realize is most of the country’s winter), I am so appreciative of how nice Phoenix winters are – pretty much like fall. Ha!

It’s been a while since I’ve purchased clothes from Target, probably several years to be honest. I felt like their pricing was getting a bit over the top for the quality so I always skipped browsing their clothing for a long time. Then I saw this sweater dress that Madison wore (influencers are also influenced by fellow style influencers) for $35 and I had to get one in red and gray and wore it back to back – I wore the red dress to a birthday dinner and the next day wore the gray one to church and a birthday party!

This dress also comes in black, I’m in size XS – and I love that it’s loose, it’s comfortable, and for the Phoenix winters we have, it’s just what I need to stay warm enough without a coat. I love sweater dresses but I also love that this isn’t tight.

The wool hat is from FashionableHats.com (c/o) and I loved the bone color. I have a hat obsession with summer and garden hats and I’m starting to build up my fall/winter hat collection again – but storing them can be so daunting especially since I’m going through a purging and decluttering journey.

I hope you are getting things done this holiday season. This week is my yearly pajama party I host, it will be our fourteenth year and we are doing a slumber party – finally! We have enough couches, beds and space to have company stay. And, considering we end the night around 2 am, it’s just better to keep it going to the next morning. Now I have to figure out breakfast haha!

Diana Elizabeth is still working on the house – the garage door might come before the new year, and the landscaping is happening. Cement should be poured early this week but with the rain we will see!
