You may have noticed I often work with Lilly, however this post isn’t sponsored. I just really wanted to share some pieces with you from one of my faaaaaaavorite brands in hopes you fall in love too, if you haven’t already! Lilly Pulitzer is high quality and the pieces are lightweight, and absolutely perfect for the warm summer vacay temps (if you do need to bundle up for the cooler months but love the coastal lifestyle, they come out with puffer vests, heavier knits in the fun bright colors.)
Lilly Pulitzer is so ideal for coastal trips, resort, and warmer places. I think of Phoenix/Scottsdale temps too! Phoenix is a resort location with the palms, pools, and golfing – and Lilly Pulitzer has a women’s golf collection for any golfers out there who want to be adorable on the green.
For sizing purposes, I wear a size 26 and I prefer tops to be size small. In Lilly Pulitzer I am a consistent size 2 and small. In linen pants when I know they are going to stretch out from wear, I get a size xs. I have bought scalloped shorts and a size 2 felt a little big, but once I washed it, it felt comfortable.
I thought I’d share some favorites from each type of clothing to give you a glimpse of the line and you can also sort clothing by color and print. I am personally a fan of navy and white, but I also love Lilly’s pink!
I love the elegance of one-piece swimsuits. This Palma swimsuit has great reviews and I talk about it in this blog post and even with a smaller chest, it looks just fine! Here is a lighter print version of the swimsuit, I personally think it would look banging on blondes!
I own three sets of Lilly’s pajama sets and they are so lightweight and the knit jersey is so incredibly soft. It’s unreal how comfortable and adorable these jammies are! You can have a tank, long sleeved button up top, pants or shorts, there are so many fun combos.
Lightweight UPC 50+ Popover
I have a navy blue popover with white trim, and I love how lightweight it is and also matches all my Lilly clothes. There are so many popover styles and some popovers have UPF coverage for long days in the sun for extra protection.
Check out all available popovers in colored prints and solids here.
White Eyelet Maxi
A white maxi dress is a summer staple, and this one is so fabulous because it has a padded top so you don’t have to wear a bra! I mean when it’s so hot out, who wants to wear one and be even more uncomfortable? I wore it on the plane to San Diego and received so many compliments on it which reassures, it was a great choice.
I love Lilly’s dresses for beach dinners, graduations, or any outdoor celebrations! Shift dresses have an extra 1-3/4″ inches of hem flexibility you can let out if you want extra length – LOVE that they do this! I own several shift dresses. See the pink shift dress here. I love this navy dress here, which I might need for an upcoming alumni event.
This lace cover up took my breath away when I saw it, it’s so beautiful! Love the v-neck detail.
Top + Short Set
A cozy and lightweight robe to lounge in, and just a little layer of warmth the velour robe is so cozy! You might have extra hands just touching you because of how it feels. I love that all Lilly colors can be mixed and matched.
This particular pink print isn’t available any longer, but check out the new prints here.
Happy, bright colored prints to get you psyched to get active. That’s what it takes for me to get moving. Check out the Luxletic collection and this pair shown here. Also, just great to lounge in or go to the beach (with a popover of course).
When I saw this backpack I got so excited, a backpack to take to the beach or to the gym that matches everything, are you serious, yay! My girlfriend told me about these felt backpack organizers that she found on Amazon put inside that will help organize your belongings.
I hope that was a good overview of all the fun things I’ve spotted on Lilly lately. I hope you’ll pop on the site and find some great summer goodies – I always get SO happy when I see Lilly Pulitzer in my closet, pack the bright colors and feel bubbly wearing it!
