Sun, Sand, and Sailboats

I smile big when I’m back in my home state – can you tell? Cali! Look at those sailboats in the background.

This summer I’m convinced you need –

  1. A designated summer hat
  2. The perfect sun dress

I added this one you see here, along with this one (for my Little Sis’ summer wedding), and this for summer nights. I’m wearing US size 6 and usually wear from 2-4 just in case your regular size is out. The other dresses I ordered US size 2.

The morning at Newport Beach it was cloudy but in a hour it was blue skies, and one happy girl! Alright, I’m also super happy because one of my best girlfriends is taking my photo and all we do is laugh when we’re together so the photos just show our chemistry! I was visiting her in Costa Mesa after my blogging conference.

I love this white dress because it screams summer – makes me look more tan (also thanks to Thailand) and has adorable crochet details on the straps and on the dress. It looks like a 2-piece and has a split back.

I’m so excited about summer – even though Phoenix heats up, it means more adventures for me outside of Phoenix, it’s the start of what my friends know as, my summer tour!

Hopefully it means I just get more views like this… a sailboat race!

Check out TOPSHOP‘s latest dress collection.

I had a small fit when I saw this dress was sold out – it was in my cart but overnight it disappeared and went out of stock. Now it’s back and I think I need to add it to my summer dress rotation. TOPSHOP is my favorite place to shop for those outfits with personality and their clothing is so well made.

I have a resolution to stop buying basic tops and to pick pieces that have more personality – so I can show off my personality! As for picking colors outside of my typical neutrals and blues, I’m working on it! But all I can say is they are all going to work so well for summer, don’t you think?
