Moving into Spring

On the last evening of winter it was 80 degrees in Phoenix and we had dinner on the patio! So we’ve been enjoying spring much earlier and I’m already looking forward to a few vacations – time to visit some girlfriends and head back to Nor Cal to visit my parents.

From girl’s lunches, to the weekend getaways, I love pastels and these pieces that I can move in, like this stripe one-shoulder maxi dress. When this dress arrived gifted from Banana Republic, I went crazy over it and couldn’t wait to try it on! BR has some fantastic pieces you can twirl in, and feel like you can live in them – move around, take walks, nothing too constricting!

I am so moved by my fellow peers in the photography industry. Of all the different groups I belong to, I have to give the highest praise to photographers who support one another, share and really have hearts of gold. There’s no such thing as competition or secrets it’s like the absolute friendliest industry you could ever be a part of.

I just had to say that because my friend Heather who took these images came through at the last minute to help me out with some projects and I couldn’t be more thankful for her, and her talents. It’s by others, my friends and those who I’m getting to know – they set such great examples to me that in return it makes me want to pay it forward to be a blessing to others when needed. I just felt like I really needed to share that!

Also my friend Amber who flips homes with her husband – she remodeled this home and it’s a vacation rental. When I went to visit her on the job I was like, “This place is so instagrammable!” and she’s like, “Come over and take photos anytime.” So I immediately took her up on that offer – can you tell why? You’re gonna see a lot of this place on the blog over the next month.

These pink eyelet shorts are so comfortable and just the right touch of spring – it also helps to give my neutral wardrobe a little pop of color. I have to admit by the time spring rolls around I’m so excited to put color on my nails and on my body!
