Spring is here
Things are bloomin’, and I’m-a-sneezin’!
But, it sure is beautiful to see things in bloom, plant new life in the garden, and see the pollinators out and about so I can have some fruit in the next few months.
When I first moved in I was told this tree was a ornamental pear (when you say “ornamental” it means the tree blooms but doesn’t give fruit). Then I came to find after a year living in our home that little baby apricots were on it. Then, my friend Caroline of Boho Farm and Home guessed it might be a aprium.
Anyhoo, come April, those babies are falling all over the place and it’s time to either call Caroline over to take for her jamming, or I need to make my aprium dessert again.

Diana Elizabeth has never been stung by a bee. Crazy, right?

Love the photos! Now, you better knock on wood that you don’t get stung by a bee after saying that. ;)
