Once the dining room is completed by early February, the next room that could use a refresh is our bedroom. It’s teeny tiny with a canopy king bed in there. My previous home had a ridiculous master that you could complete three full cartwheels in it, so when we moved to our 1950s home when rooms were smaller, the furniture was quite cramped.
I have an idea for our master so it should be a no brainer when we’re ready. On Wayfair, you can save items to idea boards. I love this feature so I can bookmark items easily for each room in our home and look at the entire board collectively to see if it flows.
Here’s the direction I would love to take for our master bedroom –
I envision planking both sides of the bed with these lovely gold bamboo mirrors –
My home style lingers between cottage and traditional, patina and southern, so I try to blend both throughout my home decor. I suppose this means I can be a little town and country!
How about a little seating area too?
Oh you know, if I knock out a wall and build out, however I’m debating – seating area or a new closet for the queen of the house and a shoe collection that has earned me the nickname of Imelda Marcos by my own mother!
The Shepard Chair, my eyes doubled in size when I saw the different fabric options. I am squealing at the sight of stripes that look like seersucker fabric.
Has your home decor style changed over the years? How so and what hone style do you like now?
Thank you Wayfair for sponsoring this post.
