Mr. Wonderful and I went to Las Vegas (Summerlin and Henderson to be exact) to visit some old longtime friends of mine that moved there. I wandered into GAP and found a lovely shirt dress that I fell in love with, it was so light and airy, but there was a problem – it was $70.
I don’t have a problem spending $70 on a dress, but just not at GAP. I’ll drop $250 on a beautiful dress but it’s about where you get it, know what I’m saying? Just like I’m not going to spend $30 on a shirt at Target, it’s Target.
Since I felt like being cheap I left the dress but then went on my iPhone on the site and found that it was not only on sale online, but there was an extra 20% your order. Boo yah! So, this is what I got:
Roll-sleeve pocket shirtdress, neon orange on sale for $20.99, other colors available / Fluid henley shirt dress $46.99 on sale for white at GAP other colors available for $64.99
I love shirt dresses! It’s so easy to slip on a dress, just like a maxi. My new thing is putting a collared shirt over a maxi and tying it. Look how cute my friend Kat, a NYC fashion blogger is in this outfit.
Once the shirtdress in navy goes on sale I’m definitely snatching it up. If you see it go on sale, please let me know!
Diana Elizabeth says sometimes online sales will always be cheaper than in stores. You can always show them the difference in price and they should honor it – yah for smart phones!
