Ahoy there mate! Saying Ahoy makes me think of the chocolate chip cookies which I eat about 20, an entire row in one sitting, with a glass of milk – usually at night, in a dark room with the TV flickering. Ok, I shared too much about my night time rituals.

I saw these sailor pants and thought they were so cheeky, those little details and I love BR pants, they are beautifully tailored and have a good stretch that keeps the pants comfortable but also recovers to original tailored fitted look. It’s always beautiful comfort while looking professional.

I vote for bodysuits, one shoulder tops, high waisted pants and ruffles to be forever in style. If they aren’t, I’m just going to be the gal in my own little world of style. These layered ruffles were darling on this top and it also comes in black and a light blue – I almost got the light blue.

I have a lot of blush/pink in my wardrobe – if you aren’t sure how to wear blush, treat it like a neutral. It will look good with everything, and I think it looks good on all skin tones, at least I haven’t seen it look bad on anyone yet unless your skin color is blush haha. It even looks great paired with olive green which is a big color for fall, so it’s great you can wear the color year round.

I remember my dad saying he didn’t like winter because it was so boring with fashion colors. We were walking around the mall last Christmas and my dad’s like, Look at the displays they are so bland, black and gray, looks depressing. He said he likes bright colors like bright yellow and red, and I was like, Dad, that’s like spring and summer. He’s like, I don’t care, I’m wearing my Hawaiian shirt year-round. HAHA!

He’s retired so he and my mom cruise year-round and hey, wherever he is seems always be summer anyway. But I love that blush and colors really can be through winter, but I do love the dark colors because I can’t wear them in the summer, I’d scorch myself walking outside in black.

Now before we know it, fall will be here and so will Christmas, and I already have major holiday plans with family and friends I’m so looking forward to – and most of all, fall fashion and cooler temps in Phoenix so I can get gardening!
