I decided to take updated home photos after I purchased my new heavy duty tripod. Welcome to our kitchen!
I can’t take all that much credit for this kitchen as the previous owner ran a cabinet and flooring company and he did an impeccable job. I will however take credit for all the light fixtures I changed out and the other decor!
The green shelf I found at an antique store and painted it Rosemary oil based paint from Sherwin-Williams.
Our handyman made the above plaque, I gave him the dimensions and I stenciled the scripture on. I recently added the bamboo shades, I love them!
And since the dining room area is connected, here it is. Yep, there’s my $1,000 oil panting. Read that post here.

What a lovely kitchen! Love the scripture plaque above the sink and the beautiful peaceful painting! It reminds me of Psalm 23:2
“He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.” awww… :)
btw, the price tag for the beautiful frame was ridiculous! These people always try to get you don’t they? Even with a 50% coupon!
Anyway, don’t mind me. The dining room looks great! :)

Hi Carmen! I love your sweet comments – Mr. Wonderful said we should paint Jesus in our sheep painting. It reminds me of Ireland, but also that the Lord is our shepherd! I made the plaque above the kitchen sink, well, my handyman made the wood from palette wood cut to my specifications and then I stenciled the scripture in a font and painted it on. :)

Can’t wait, Diana! I am so bummed how time slipped away so quickly and how we are nearly halfway through June. In the Fall…we WILL get to you!!!

Oh, I was thinking of Jesus as the Shepherd regarding your painting, too! Just saw that comment of yours here.
